I’m a fiction writer. I’m working on short stories and a novel. I’ve submitted a few stories and hope to hear back as to whether they’ve been accepted for publication.

My novel is something I return to time and again, before getting distracted by short stories. Luckily, the stories often end up as part of the novel. It’s a bit more dark and exploratory. Think of it as melancholic, but not in a bad sense but as an introspective mood to explore internal feelings and external relations. The working title is Darkness Lit and the main character is Teagan.

In mid to long term, I’ve got a kiss & tell book on my time in electoral politics at the local and federal level. I have ideas but nothing written down yet. It could be focused on me and my thoughts about the similarities/differences of federal and non-federal campaigns. Or, it could be about how Reps and Senators get elected, and how and why some don’t get elected. There’s so much I’ve learned and in many ways, it’s sullied me on the whole process
